Technical assistance

Our field team is composed by trained and certified engineers that can assist our customers and perform a wide range of service activities – on board or on-site. We support our customers throughout the life cycle of the project, from the beginning with installation and commissioning activities and continuing with service and maintenance visits to extend components life-time and also with calibration activities to comply with environmental regulations.

Installation and commissioning

Thanks to the experience of our engineers, acquired through the installation of over 500 systems and with the certification of more than 300 systems, we can offer our customers a smooth, and effective process which reduces overall cost and minimizes the risk of faulty installations. In this phase, we work alongside installation staff, to verify that installation specifications and best practices are properly followed. Our commissioning technicians are qualified to complete the start-up phase in a safe and efficient manner while at the same time helping clients’ personnel to understand the operation and the compliance requirements with dedicated training. We also support the client in obtaining the necessary certifications.

Health check

A periodical check is carried out by an expert engineer a to assess the overall status of the system, suggest possible corrective actions or maintenance operations necessary to sustain the required performance and the highest efficiency standards over time.

Calibration

Periodic calibration of the instruments, such as gas analyzers and water analysis instruments, are required to meet the environmental standards in force and guarantee compliance. Thanks to dedicated agreements with most makers, our engineers are certified to carry out this type of activity. The possibility to combining calibration activities with other assistance and maintenance services greatly contributes to reducing overall cost of operation. We are also in position to offer an instrument exchange program: this involves sending the customer a calibrated instrument in the laboratory to replace the one to be calibrated which is sent to Ecospray to be reconditioned and sent on another ship.

Remote Assistance

Our systems include integrated devices for remote connection, a service appreciated by our customers because it saves travel days and reduces cost. Thanks to the development of dedicated monitoring and management software we can: provide ongoing support, check the operating parameters of the systems and carry out remote diagnostics. Furthermore, upon clients’ request, we can provide continuous collection of system data and monitor real-time performance, thereby facilitating predictive analysis, operations management and system maintenance.

Help desk

On a 24 hour basis, a dedicated telephone line and an e-mail contact is available to offer support to our clients.

Teleservice

The remote connection function can be enabled on request to directly access the supervision of the system automation and solve problems remotely, or to perform an advanced diagnosis of the system.

Performance and efficiency monitoring

We use advanced data collection tools to monitor performance and implement statistical curves useful to perform preventive maintenance. The data is analyzed to monitor performance, efficiency, maintenance needs and compliance, allowing our customers to accelerate their return on investment.

Spare Parts

The management of spare parts allows to sustain the operation of the systems and to maximize reliability and usage rates. Thanks to our experience, we are able to suggest the optimal quantity and type of spare parts to be kept on board and/or on shore, in order to simplify the customer’s warehouse management. Furthermore, our commercial agreements with suppliers give us the opportunity to offer original spare parts at competitive prices, guaranteeing the fastest delivery of the replacement part.

Spare parts kit

We can recommend specific spare parts kits for each system:

  • On board spare parts kit: those components whose failure could cause the plant out of service; consumables; and verification and calibration instruments. These components can easily be replaced by client’s personnel.
  • On shore spare parts kit: those components whose failure does not cause the plant out of service. Also included in this list are those parts that require the intervention of an external technician.

Warehouse

We can offer warehouse management of spare parts for customers through warehouses shared in various locations and based on specific needs.

Training

Training of both, onshore and onboard personnel, is a key element to increase reliability and usage rates of the system, thereby ensuring regulatory compliance and the achievement of our clients’ desired rates of return on investment. For this reason, we have developed dedicated training programs concerning our systems, their operation and applicable regulations. These programs employ a mix of computer-based material, class teaching and hands-on exercises to prepare the operators to manage a wide range of real-life situations.

Ecospray training center

Our training center hosts periodic training, with a dedicated simulation area equipped with a scale replica of our systems. More than 500 professionals to date have successfully completed our training, contributing to the development of the most efficient tools for performance enhancement.
